Massage or Skincare?
Hello, my name is Jasmin and I'm an esthetician and massage therapist. I've been working in the spa industry for over 8 years as a massage therapist and have 3+ years experience as a licensed esthetician. I absolutely love what I do and want to share my passion with others by helping them achieve their goals.
Which do I like better? Massage or Skincare?
Massage and skincare can both serve as a holistic approach to wellness, and they can be used together or alone. Massage therapy is a form of bodywork that focuses on manipulating soft tissue to relieve tension, improve circulation and range of motion, reduce pain and aid in recovery from injury. I've been doing this work for so long it's a really big part of who I am.
My skincare treatments include the use of massage along with products such as cleansers, scrubs, serums and masks applied directly onto your skin for various purposes. Depending on treatment we may also include facial sculpting massage, scalp, neck, arms and hands. We also take note of nutritional considerations, stress levels, sleep, and hydration when addressing skin conditions.
My History.
I have been passionate about self care, massage, skincare and meditation for a very long time. I actually moved to Tampa Bay from Gainesville, FL back in 2011 with the intention of becoming a yoga instructor. However, life got in the way and in 2015 I became a licensed massage therapist instead. Five years later, I became a licensed esthetician. I have no regrets. I am very passionate about helping people and helping them achieve a state of calmness while improving their quality of life and confidence.
I believe that everyone has their own unique way of achieving inner peace through different practices such as meditation, exercise, or yoga. Massage therapy and skin care is another way to connect with yourself on a deeper level by allowing your body to relax while still being able to focus on what you need in order to feel at ease with yourself again after such stressful times in life (work stressors/home life).
A Holistic Approach to Wellness
As a holistic massage therapist, I believe in the importance of treating the whole body and mind. I am passionate about helping people achieve their health goals by providing a safe space in which they can relax, feel comfortable and receive treatment with respect and care.
My approach to skincare is also holistic, meaning I consider all aspects of your life when creating a treatment plan for you. It's important to so we can work together on finding solutions.
In Conclusion
There is no either/or for me when asked massage or skincare. It's all skin, organs, anatomy, and everything that makes us whole. The answer for me is holistic.
